School & Information: Production and free distribution of information booklets for parents, children, family and other members of the community. We already have 16 titles. We make contact with schools in order to promote the continuity of school activities when children are in treatment.

Emotional support: Parent’s support groups. Interviews with parents at different stages of treatment. Visits to children in hospital.

Social Assistance: Provision of drugs and treatment supplies. Transport, food, clothes. Information about community resources.

Legal advocacy

Recreation and Entertainment: Craftwork workshops for parents. Art, music and computing activities for children at the “house”. Lending of TV, videos and games when children are in hospital. Special events and celebrations for large groups. Excursions, theatre and museum visits for families.

Communication to general public: Media participation in order to increase awareness about childhood cancer and to disseminate information about the Foundation’s activities.

Academic Area: Involvement in scientific communication. Participation in workshops and meetings. Participation in SIOP Psychosocial Committee and in ICCCPO activities. We also take part in the Pediatrics Oncology Traveling Team, supported by the Argentine Pediatrics Society.

Volunteer recruiting and management: Recruiting, education and supervision of volunteers.
